Chayofa is located around 5 km inland from the beaches and many attractions at Costa Adeje and Los Christinos.
Take a short drive to the stretch of coastline around Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos where you find some wonderful beaches. There are two Blue Flag beaches. Playa Fanabe with calm waters is ideal for families. Playa del Duque has 500 meters of white sands imported from the Sahara, palm leaf parasols and colourful changing cabins. Both beaches have a choice of bars and food outlets on the promenade. For watersports lovers there is sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing and surfing.

The popular Tree House Bar and Grill is styled as an English country pub and has a great reputation has a garden with children’s area, large screen TV with sports channels and offers Sunday roasts and delicious steaks More traditional Canarian cuisine is available at Meson La Finca. A wide range of restaurants and bars are available at Coste Adeje and Playa de las Americas nearby.
For designer names and boutiques head to the Plaza del Duque Mall (in El Duque) a great place for duty free shopping.
Things to Do
Las Aguilas Jungle Park is just a short walk from the centre of Chayofa. The wildlife park is home to over 500 animals including leopards and tigers and various species of ape and monkey. There are daily sea lion and flight shows featuring exotic birds and birds of prey. The park contains a number walking paths with rope bridges, tunnels, waterfalls, lagoons and caves.
Just 2km away Siam Park is one of the biggest waterparks in Europe featuring exciting rides and relaxing beaches set in a stunning Thai themed kingdom.
The Chayofa Country Club has a Tennis Academy with floodlit courts and there are 5 golf courses within a 20 minute drive. From the harbour in Los Cristianos you can take whale and dolphin spotting cruises and fishing trips. You can even get the ferry to the neighbouring island of La Gomera.
